To avoid confusion and clutter I have waited until now to publish Cytotechnologist positions that have recently become available.
1. A US Managed laboratory in the UAE (Abu Dhab/Dubai). They are in need of multiple Cytotechnologists.

2. The CDC, Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) is currently recruiting two Health Scientists with recent experience in clinical microbiology and a third Health Scientist with recent experience as a cytotechnologist to support CDC’s work with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulatory program. The individuals will be responsible for developing, revising, and promoting CLIA regulatory standards and voluntary guidelines for quality improvement of laboratory testing, and translating such information into user-friendly formats and messages. One microbiologist will be part of a team responsible for CDC’s role in monitoring CLIA proficiency testing. 3. There is a current opening for a cytotechnologist at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis MN.
Education:
BS in Biological Science or bachelor’s in a related laboratory field
including the related lab practicum or equivalent routes as specified in
CLIA’88.
Minimum License/Certification/Registra tion: Should
possess (upon hire) appropriate HHS approved laboratory certification CT
(ASCP Individual must prove that they have taken and passed the
individual GYN Cytology Proficiency Testing or be enrolled to take the
proficiency testing for the current year.

Preferred
Experience: At least three years of experience. Urovysion FISH and
rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE) of FNAs experience is preferred. SurePath
certification is also preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must demonstrate the ability to work under stress in a variety of situations. Must be able to exercise independent judgment. Must have good manual dexterity
